Dear Parent or Guardian:
Los Angeles Unified is committed to providing every student in our District with a safe learning environment. As a part of the Every School Safe: Blueprint for Safety, throughout the 2023-2024 school year, students will be taught strategies to help them recognize concerns and how to ask for help. Students throughout LAUSD will participate in the six (6) presentations during assemblies, and advisory/homeroom as identified in the table below. Prior to the student presentations, parents will be invited to a presentation regarding the same topic for that month. These may be offered during a Coffee with the Principal segment, school site workshop or a Parent and Family Center activity. El Distrito Unificado de Los Ángeles está comprometido a brindar a cada estudiante de nuestro Distrito un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro. Como parte de Every School Safe: Blueprint for Safety, durante el año escolar 2023-2024, a los estudiantes se les enseñarán estrategias para ayudarlos a reconocer inquietudes y cómo pedir ayuda. Los estudiantes de todo LAUSD participarán en las seis (6) presentaciones durante las asambleas y en el asesoramiento/aula principal como se identifica en la siguiente tabla. Antes de las presentaciones de los estudiantes, se invitará a los padres a una presentación sobre el mismo tema de ese mes. Estos pueden ofrecerse durante un segmento de Café con el director, un taller en el sitio escolar o una actividad del Centro para padres y familias.
